Rental insurance covers accidental damage caused while riding (bashed in pipe, broken levers, etc). Rental insurance does not cover damage caused by intentional abuse / neglect (please don't purposely throw your bike off of a cliff)

The damage deposit covers any excessive damage caused while riding (bashed in pipe, broken levers, etc). Normal wear and tear (minor dents / scratches) are OK and will not result in a charge.
Can I use my personal insurance?
No, personal insurance can not be used to cover damage to your rental bike.
